New A3.business Cohort Launches in Seoul, South Korea

Orientation for New Cohort

Recently A3 launched a new cohort for marketplace leaders in Seoul, South Korea. The latest group that gathered outside of Seoul for the orientation to our third cohort was quite amazing. Among the group were:

• the owner/founder of a chain of well-known coffee/juice bars with dozens of outlets;
• a jewelry designer who is sought after by K-pop bands;
• a professional golfer now leading a golfing organization;
• the owner of a popular drink brand;
• and many more.

While all of that is pretty cool, what is truly exciting is that each group member strongly desires to impact South Korea for Jesus. And they realize they need a vibrant community of like-minded others to support and encourage one another.

At the orientation, the president of A3, Joe Handley, shared the importance of polycentric leadership. He emphasized the need for connecting believers and ideas across the marketplace spectrum and the critical skill of collaborative behavior as a leader.

In addition, the group was blessed by the teaching of Will Nicklas, a former senior executive for Toyota, who served as a second faculty instructor (see cover photo). Will challenged the leaders to wrestle with things like prosperity and how to be light for Jesus in their business.

New Energy, Inspiration, and Growing Connection

Participants who experienced this orientation shared how it energized them and inspired them. Furthermore, the hallmark was the deep personal interaction and sharing that happened. This forms the basis for the vibrant community that is key to the A3 leader development model.

Will you pray with us for the launching of this new cohort? We need to select dates for the schedule, carve out time in our calendars, and invite faculty instructors. Session 1 will be the last weekend in August. We covet your prayers for God to use this cohort experience to transform each of these tremendous leaders in Seoul.
