This past weekend marked a watershed moment for the A3.business cohort in Latin America. This was our third session in the 18-month leadership journey. So the A3.business participants gathered in Puembo, Ecuador for a time of deep learning, personal transformation, and Spirit-filled community.
At the heart of the weekend was Karen Hung, Founder/CEO of Silver Rock Consulting. Karen, whom I first met years ago in Korea through A3.business, A3’s Christian marketplace leaders' initiative. Karen brought her wealth of experience to bear with remarkable clarity and grace.
Karen introduced us to her powerful framework, “The Arc of Transformation,” which charts the pathway for organizational and personal growth through the lens of cultural understanding and agile leadership. She challenged us to embrace the tension between honoring the past and boldly shaping the future. In her words,
"Agility is the new stability amid ambiguity."
— KAREN HUNG
It was a prophetic reminder that leadership today isn’t about having all the answers, but about cultivating the posture and practices to adapt, serve, and transform.
“Karen’s ‘Arc of Transformation’ methodology provided us with a powerful framework for organizational growth—catalyzing culture and understanding agile leadership as believers who desire to transform cities and nations.”
“Thank you, Karen, for generously sharing your expertise—not only as a trusted advisor to global firms, but as a mentor to smaller companies striving for meaningful impact.”
But this wasn’t just a training weekend. It was kingdom leaders pursuing their calling in the marketplace. Elliott Snuggs, reflected on the depth of the cohort's engagement:
“We started it off with each participant reflecting on what they had learned so far in this journey. It was amazing to hear: ‘I could have never imagined having this kind of input into my life 9 months ago.’ ‘I’ve had a complete breakthrough in my business relationships as I’ve implemented what I’ve been learning.’”
Beyond the insights and strategies, there was something more—a sacred sense of presence. The cohort laughed, wept, and prayed together. “The presence of the Holy Spirit was clearly evident,” Elliott shared.
The focus of the weekend, “equipping leaders to integrate Christ-centered wisdom with cultural and organizational intelligence, forming resilient, agile leaders for a rapidly changing world,” reflects the heartbeat of A3.business to build and sustain Christ's marketplace leaders around the world.
May this be the beginning of a movement of Christian business leaders across Latin America who lead with vision, serve with humility, and create life-giving workplaces that transform communities—in the power of the Holy Spirit.

A3.business is deeply grateful to Karen Hung for her investment and to Marcelo Pazos for his excellent leadership, and to the A3 team, including CEO Joe Handley, for laying the foundation for what is now the first Latin American cohort in Ecuador, with further groundwork already being laid in other LATAM countries.
""There are plenty of ministries to help Christian leaders develop their skills. What sets A3.business apart is a focus on the transformation of a leader’s soul. A3 holds an integrated vision of life and leadership that refuses to separate a person’s calling in the world from his or her communion with Christ. By targeting this deeper level of existence, A3.business equips leaders with a new vision of faithfulness and not merely new tools of effectiveness.""
